Our Story: From a Simple Idea to a Warm Platform

Hi-et's story began with a simple and pure idea: "Why can't there be a platform that makes cross-cultural communication simpler, more genuine, safer, and cleaner?"

Most of our founding team members have experienced transnational communication firsthand. Some missed opportunities for deep conversations due to language barriers; some faced misunderstandings and prejudices on social platforms due to cultural differences; others harbored concerns about online transnational socializing after encountering bot harassment, illicit content, and misleading fake accounts. Therefore, we decided to build something different. In 2024, the Hi-et prototype was officially born.
